SMALL GROUPS
After participating in our KidStuf large group environment, parents are dismissed to attend our contemporary worship service beginning at 10:45 am. Kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade gather together in their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand how the day’s moral of the story can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders help kids understand TRUTH. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.
BIBLE QUIZZING
The philosophy of Children’s Quizzing is Bible study. It is important to help children know what the Bible says and help them demonstrate biblical teachings in actual life situations. The goal of Children’s Quizzing is for children to know the God of the Bible. This group meets on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm.
The purpose of Children’s Quizzing Bible study and competition is to help children:
• Discover how to study the Bible.
• Desire to study the Bible.
• Grow in understanding of the overall chronology of the Bible.
• Learn that God is the central character and Hero of the Bible.
• Gain increased understanding of God as He is revealed in each study.
• Understand how people in the Bible interacted with God, and know how people today may do so also.
• Enjoy quizzing competition.
• Grow in the ability to reflect Christian attitudes and behaviors during competition.
In Children's Bible Quizzing, each child challenges himself or herself to reach award levels. In this approach, children quiz against a base of knowledge, not each other. The multiple-choice method of competition allows every child to answer every question. This approach makes it possible for every child to score a perfect score.
Competition is an optional part of the Children's Bible Quizzing ministry. Each parent/child decide if they want to participate in a series of competition events.
KIDFUN
A variety of activities are held throughout the year to encourage our children in their faith and friendships such as: Movie Night, Christmas Musical, Sleepover, Sledding, Easter Egg Hunt, Talent Night, NazCar Derby, Kids Camp and Family Fun in the Son.
PRESCHOOL
Preschool children attend our KidStuf family service with a parent at 9:30 am. Then at 10:30 am, preschoolers meet in a small group to learn about Jesus, who He is, and what He's done for them through story, music, crafts, snacks and more.
NURSERY
Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers each Sunday morning beginning at 9:15 am until noon.
